There is no doubt that when viewing these photographs by Omar Allam, the missing colors can easily be imagined. But it’s the lack of color that makes them all the more evocative. Combining opposite environments, human and animal subjects, and a lack of obvious activity, the images invite the viewer to break through the ambiguity and interpret the scene using their own intuitions.
