How We Find Peace by Omar Allam
Out on a fishing boat beneath the high noon sun, a fisherman allows himself a moment of rest. At first his silhouette suggests prayer, but on closer inspection the cigarette makes us think otherwise. In the midst of these moments of thankless toil on a boat in the middle of the sea, Omar Gaza’s photograph shows us how a fisherman can equally find peace in devotion or in life’s little vices.
